Korea's tea culture is quieter and less formalized than Japan's, but equally profound. Korean dado (tea ceremony) emphasizes naturalness, sincerity, and the beauty of imperfection — reflecting Korea's Confucian and Buddhist philosophical roots.

In a traditional tea ceremony experience, you'll learn to prepare and appreciate Korean green tea, fermented teas, and herbal infusions using handcrafted ceramic ware. The session includes discussion of tea history, proper brewing temperatures, and the meditative aspects of tea drinking.

Experiences are available at traditional teahouses in Insadong and Bukchon (Seoul), at Buddhist temples, and in the tea-growing regions of Boseong and Hadong in Korea's south.
